The Edison HS boundary is located on the eastern part of Fairfax County, sharing its borders with the City of Alexandria. The Blue line of the Metro goes right through it, giving it the unique advantage of having a Metro station on either end of the boundary (Franconia-Springfield to the west, and Huntington to the east).

Within the Edison boundary, you can also find the tree-lined, urban community of Kingstowne, with over 5300 homes (apartments, condos, townhomes, and detached homes), Kingstowne also has a town center, walking trails, a lake, and lots of fun amenities such as swimming pools, tennis courts, volleyball courts, tot lots, and fitness centers.

The Edison boundary is an ideal place to live for people who want the feel of a historic town (with the City of Alexandria nearby), with access to modern, world-class amenities, at an affordable price.

Within the Edison boundary, there are almost an even amount of detached single family homes and townhomes available for sale; and slightly lower, but a good amount of condos (most of them near the Metro stations). Plus, home prices are consistent with the average price in Fairfax County.

Finding a home by school can be a challenge
If you have tried to find a home by school before, you have probably found that it’s a challenge to cross-reference homes for sale on a typical home search website with their assigned school.
