Annandale High School
Annandale is for Easy Commuting Lovers
by Marina Brito, Realtor®
The Annandale HS boundary is located inside the Capital Beltway, with easy access to Washington DC via I-395, and to Maryland via I-495. To the south of the boundary you can find the Springfield Interchange – an amazing network of highways interconnecting the Northern Virginia area to Washington, DC and beyond.
However, driving can be a challenge during rush hours – but don’t worry. Annandale has a healthy supply of bus routes going out in many directions, as well as the Virginia Railway Express (VRE) for trips via rail to the Pentagon and into DC.

Finding a home by school can be a challenge
If you have tried to find a home by school before, you have probably found that it’s a challenge to cross-reference homes for sale on a typical home search website with their assigned school.
Simply finding homes “near” the school won’t do
The issue with typical home search websites is that they only display homes by city or zip code. Some of them display homes “near” the school. Well, that won’t do you any good since school boundaries span cities, zip codes, and just being “near” the school doesn’t mean that the home belongs to that boundary.
You want a home INSIDE the Annandale high school boundary. Not just “near” it…
